ADVANTAGES OF WALLS WITH BUILT-IN STIFLEX MODULAR SYSTEM

StiFlex framework is made of thin galvanized steel and serves as a modern replacement for reinforced concrete and steel stiffeners. This lightweight, yet durable system allows the construction of high and long walls without increasing their thickness, and even reducing it, providing numerous advantages compared to traditional construction and assembly systems made of black metal.

The system is made using thin but strong steel. Being lightweight, StiFlex reduces installation costs. The system allows the construction of high and extended walls without increasing or even reducing their thickness. As a result, it increases the usable interior space of the premises and reduces construction costs due to the lower weight of all walls and reduced load on the foundation.

Less Workforce for Installation and Fast Installation

The modularity and adjustability of the system require fewer workers to install StiFlex. Expensive operations such as welding, cutting, lifting heavy elements, painting, and others are no longer needed. This reduces costs by at least 50%.

- efficient use of water resources and electricity.

StiFlex® allows for the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and saves up to 40% on energy resources due to efficient and economical use of steel in production. We use advanced materials and construction methods to create buildings that meet the highest environmental standards.

Moreover, the high fire resistance of buildings constructed using the StiFlex prefabricated framework system also enhances the environmental friendliness of construction. By reducing the risk of fires, there is also a reduction in the risk of releasing combustion products into the atmosphere and air pollution.

Before delivering the products, the project and technical requirements for the use of StiFlex systems are discussed in detail with the customer. The customer is provided with an appendix to the contract, which includes:
- technical requirements for the materials used in construction;
- installation and assembly instructions for each element and system as a whole;
- transportation and operation conditions.

The corrosion resistance and durability of StiFlex steel elements is up to 50 years, depending on operating conditions and the type of coating chosen. The system components come with two options for corrosion-resistant coatings and are selected based on the requirements of the construction project and its location. The durability results, as well as the impact of the cement-sand plaster coating on the corrosion resistance of the StiFlex system, have been studied and confirmed by laboratory testing.

Based on the conducted corrosion studies, quality assessment, and corrosion rate of the building frame materials of the external wall enclosing systems, it has been established that the examined StiFlex system structures, made of carbon steel with a zinc coating Zn 275 (with a thickness of at least 18 microns), can be operated for at least:
- 50 years in non-aggressive and slightly aggressive environments (in the absence of moisture condensation);
- 50 years in mildly and moderately aggressive environments with a protective cement-sand plaster layer on the surface at least 25 mm thick (in the absence of moisture condensation);
- 30 years in moderately aggressive environments (with the possibility of moisture condensation).
Structures made of carbon steel with a zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating (ZM) with a thickness of at least 15 microns can be operated for at least 50 years in mildly and moderately aggressive environments, even in the case of condensation forming inside.

Thus, StiFlex metal elements are resistant to atmospheric corrosion in non-aggressive, low-aggressive, and moderately aggressive environments.
