Commercial buildings with standardized wall designs at practically every floor levels. Areas where walls were not full height, spanning from floor to ceiling, free-standing stiffeners or stiffeners cantilevered from the floor structure were designed for such application. For lower wall heights, only vertical stiffeners were provided. Taller wall heights needing both vertical and horizontal stiffeners, vertical junction stiffeners were required at wall junctions.
